With over 500 original designs created, in a wide range of materials and colors, Chatelles offers everyone a flat yet stylish look without sacrificing femininity or comfort. The Parisian brand draws inspiration from English slippers, the iconic indoor gentleman's shoe, and reinterprets them as outdoor models for women, men, and children.

Their sleek and lightweight design ensures an elegant gait and pairs wonderfully with all outfits, from jeans to evening gowns, from the office to the dance floor, for wearing indoors at home in winter, or traveling in summer.

We emphasize comfort by integrating a memory foam insole into all our slippers. Furthermore, we have developed a unique customization concept: the ability to mix and match the model and accessory according to your look, thanks to interchangeable accessories, allowing you to personalize the model of your choice. Thus, trimmings, velvet bows, triple pompoms, tassels, or even embroidered initials can accessorize your slippers as you wish.

Chatelles slippers are 100% European in design and manufacture. Inspired by English history, they are designed in Paris, then crafted from the finest Italian and Spanish leathers by the expert hands of artisans in 3 family-run factories, all located in a small village in northern Portugal in the Porto region, not far from the Atlantic coast.

For furlanes, we work with one of the last traditional workshops in Friuli, in Veneto near Venice. This makes our furlane production authentic and proudly handmade in Italy, which distinguishes Chatelles from the competition.

As for espadrilles, they are made in the Madrid region in the oldest Spanish alpargatas workshop, managed for 4 generations by the same family.

In 2012, after a few years in an investment bank in London, François returned to Paris to found Chatelles, a Parisian brand of women's slippers, customizable with a wide choice of interchangeable accessories: this was the birth of a mono-product brand of flat shoes, renowned first and foremost for their comfort.

His vocation was to create the first brand entirely dedicated to slippers, combining elegance, comfort, and customization for women's feet. Since then, the brand has expanded its expertise to men's and children's models, so that everyone can enjoy the Chatelles style.
